Eletta Daemen is a Dutch artist and furniture maker currently based in Sweden.  Working primarily with wood, often in combination with glass (e.g. frosted, mirrored, or fractured), Daemen creates sculptural works that balance craftsmanship with conceptual inquiry. Her practice explores how perception shifts through movement, materiality, and changing viewpoints. By inviting viewers to move around her works, she creates situations in which multiple interpretations can coexist and emerge over time.

Central to her practice is an attentiveness to the constructed nature of the world. Through learning woodworking, Daemen developed a heightened awareness of how objects are made, leading to a deeper sense of curiosity and wonder toward her everyday surroundings. With her work, she seeks to cultivate this same openness in others, encouraging a renewed engagement with what is often overlooked.

Recent projects focus on the expressive potential of wood and glass as materials capable of revealing uncertainty, transformation, and layered perception. Through these investigations, Daemen aims to create experiences that foster attentiveness, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the world that we live in.
